The winning artworks are promoted on the gallery’s website with the Best in Show winners, for the monthly themed exhibitions, and the Artist Spotlight winners featured for one month, while the quarterly exhibition winners are featured for three months.

Chris’s work can be found in private collections around the world. Early in his career, Chris entered and participated in numerous juried art exhibitions in Boston, Providence and New York City. He has now chosen to share his knowledge to assist other artists in gaining experience and exposure to new and seasoned art collectors and art professionals.

3Does Fusion Art Sell Artwork?

Fusion Art does not engage directly in selling the artwork featured in any of its online exhibitions on the Fusion Art website.  Fusion Art does not represent artists in the online exhibitions on its website. In addition, each year Fusion Art hosts an annual group show in Palm Springs, or another city chosen by the gallery, that includes all the Best in Show and Artist Spotlight winners from the previous twelve months of online exhibitions. For sales that occur during the annual group show, Fusion Art will take the standard industry 50% commission on any sale.

At all times, the copyright to all the artwork shown on the Fusion Art website remains with the respective artist. None of the artwork may be downloaded or reproduced without the written consent of the artist.

4Why Should I Enter Fusion Art’s Online Juried Art Competitions?

There are numerous benefits to artists for participation in Fusion Art’s online juried art competitions. First and foremost, it provides exposure for the artists by showcasing their art work and artistic talents. Fusion Art promotes the winning artists each month through its website, in hundreds of local and international press releases, online event calendars, art news websites, direct email campaigns and through the gallery’s social media outlets.

In addition, each year Fusion Art hosts a group exhibition in Palm Springs, California (or another city chosen by Fusion Art) featuring the Best in Show and Artist Spotlight winners from the previous twelve months of online exhibitions. This annual show will give artists an opportunity to display their winning artwork in a “brick and mortar” gallery. The exhibition will last for approximately one month.

5What Happens to My Artwork after the Online Exhibition is Over?

Fusion Art’s online art exhibitions are retained in the gallery’s archives for 3 years. Each exhibition’s archive preserves all the artwork selected for participation in the exhibition. Each piece of artwork is clearly marked with the artist’s name, title of the work and the artist’s website and contact information as provided by the artist.

6How Does Fusion Art Promote My Art & the Exhibition?

The winning artists and artworks are promoted on the gallery’s website with the Best in Show winners, for the monthly themed exhibitions, and the Artist Spotlight winners featured for one month, while the quarterly exhibition winners are featured for three months.

Best in Show winners are also featured on the Featured Artists page. Second through Fifth Place winners also receive special recognition and are featured on the Monthly Winners page, and Exhibition page, above all the other entrants selected for participation in the exhibition.

Fusion Art will also promote the exhibition through its website, in hundreds of local and international press releases, online event calendars, news websites, on the gallery’s social media outlets, and through direct email campaigns to art collectors, art professionals and art gallery owners.

It is required that the artist provide a short Biography (written in the 3rd person) or Artist Statement (written in the 1st person). This is your opportunity to tell us a little bit about yourself, including your artistic training, inspiration, media choice, any special techniques used or anything that you might like people to know about you and your art. If you have a website, please include your website URL and/or email address so we can refer collectors and buyers to you. Please note that any bios that exceed the word limit will be edited.

For Artist Spotlight a Biography or Artist Statement will be included in the overall evaluation of the artist’s entry and artists who neglect to include a Bio or Artist Statement will automatically be disqualified.  Entry fees are not refundable even if an artist is disqualified for any reason. Although only one is required, it is strongly recommended an artist include both a bio and artist statement and excerpts from either one may be included in the official press release or article announcing the exhibition.
