Artist Statement

Adding drama and mystery through the use of powerful lighting, exaggerated contrasts and unusual compositions, I transform simple, everyday life into un-ordinary, not-so-still life. Taking an ordinary subject and enhancing its perception invites the viewer to take a closer look. If you look closer you may discover something new about yourself. The artist start the process, but the paint often takes command and leads to unexpected outcomes. Its always exhilarating.
